We are on holiday here on the gold coast and saw this restaurant from our hotel room and thought we'd try it out....best decision ever! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly and courteous staff, the service was impeccable from start to finish. The fruit infused water was refreshing and delicious!! The food is to die for, so fresh and full of flavour!! We were even treated to a complementary butterscotch schnapps shot each after our meal. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening, we'll be back before our holiday ends!! Second visit: All we can say is WOW!! The service is impeccable, very warm and welcoming, the owner is on the floor and is one of the most gracious hosts we've ever met. All of the staff are welcoming, polite and friendly, they ensure you feel at home! The food is absolutely incredible, fresh, flavourful and plentiful. Tonight was our second visit within our week's holiday, we cannot wait to come back on our next Gold Coast getaway!! The massaman beef curry was amazing and the chicken satay sticks are like heaven on earth! This is the best Thai food we've ever had (including in Thailand!!) Thank you for our second wonderful evening, we'll see you again next time!! 5/5 stars, Iyara Thai is a must if you are on the Gold Coast!!!

Arrived quite late on a Wed evening without a booking, hence the mid range on atmosphere. Reception and service was warm and attentive. Menu expansive and the three mains selected (pad thai, green curry and chilli basil' were all fresh and delicious. Portions sizes are large and plenty of fresh veg. If having starters, I suspect mains could be shared. 'Hot' was sufficiently spicy, although there is a higher 'Thai hot'! Can thoroughly recommend.
Have been coming to this beautiful restaurant for years. Always good food, the beef massaman curry is absolutely delicious. The service is exceptional, Oscar always serves with a welcoming smile and looks after all the guests, making them feel like family!
Great food and very friendly service. The pad see yew was so good and the coconut rice was amazing. Also our waiter was exceptional, filling up our water every time we ran out with fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend!!
Great atmosphere, with such friendly staff and the best service. We order the Banquet 1 and ending up taking a large doggie bag home. Flavours were superb. Will definitely return.
Best Thai meal we've had outside of Thailand. Service was really good, everyone was friendly. Had green curry and lamb shank massaman which was delicious. Very unassuming from the exterior, but going off the other reviews we decided to go here, and we are very glad we did. Would definitely recommend.
Have been here a couple of times over the past few years. Food is A1 and cannot be faulted. Full of flavour. We had a table where everyone ordered different heat levels. They catered for us perfectly. Quite busy so would def be worth booking to not miss out
High standards all round….love the atmosphere the service and the food Recommendation to try the Pineapple fried rice, Penang curry Massaman curry plus the Treasure bags were a delight!
Absolutely loved our experience at Iyara Thai Restaurant. The chicken Pad Thai was my favourite full of flavour. The service was just as impressive, with Oscar going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. Friendly, attentive, and genuine service makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!
